Real Men.

So, let me just start this past off with a story. :) This past week we all went to camp and had life changing experiences! I must say everyone came back amazing men and women for God and were ready to change the world. Apparently that was over very quickly. Tonight we all hung out as a group at a couple of the boy's apartment. It was so fun! They were all wrapped up in League of Legends and the girls played Mario Kart on the Nintendo! Needless to say the girls got tired and went to go leave. A little back story on this apartment, it is SMACK DAB in the middle of the GHETTO! It's dark outside and our cars are all the way down the street. You would expect the boys to get off their LAZY BUTTS, pause their game, and at least be man enough to walk the girls out to their cars and make sure they get there safely! Guess what....they didn't. This got me to thinking, "wow, I would never even think about dating someone like this but to be honest they are all just really bad friends." To let a bunch of girls who can barely handle when bugs are 50 feet away walk by themselves in a dangerous neighborhood is appalling. Sure, I will give credit to one who wanted to walk us out and my friend Whitney said no, but still I feel like a REAL gentleman and man of God would say, "sorry, I don't want to risk it, I will walk you out anyways." I know this is such a big rant but I have been thinking lately of the qualities I want in a man and also praying for God to show me what I want. I want someone who will think about me before they play a video game. Who will say, "you know what, you're worth WAY more than my game, I know I don't live in a safe neighborhood, even though you're parked right down the road I am going to make sure you make it safely because I don't wanna risk that. I personally think God gives us these experiences in our lives for reasons. These are ways to show us and to help us! I thank Him so much for tonight. Without this night I would have never known how much this bugged me and to look for guys with the complete opposite attitudes. XOXOXO, CiCi
